Day-to-Day transaction #Contract

Living in the city, urban area or anywhere in this economic world, making transaction or contract is an unavoidable affair that concern everyone. Either buying a sweet or doing a business involving billions of dollars, they are subjected to Contract Law.

Most people would agree that a promise, is a promise which, morally, should be acted upon. In our daily lives, we make promises as well as break promises, either by going back on our words or by simply forgetting our promises to act or not to act. It is fine if the given promise is disregarded by the promisee, however, in most circumstances, especially in commercial settings, the promisee would want the promisor to stick to his words. Moreover, matter would be worst if the promisee has acted, to his or her detriment or disadvantage, upon the promise made by the promisor. This is the reason why we need contract law to step in to provide a framework, in allowing the parties to have their agreement to be made binding. Especially when ‘Justice’ is a prominent topic in this day and age, the courts will need respect the laissez-faire doctrine and at the same time to ensure the parties are acting rightfully in accordance to the Contract Law.

Thus, Contract Law has been part of our life, governing every transaction we make, ensuring the sinful people like us will act rightfully and morally under the language of legality.
