• two great Fields •
I see people mounting their horses for great expeditions,
People with rare swords and shields displaying by their sides,
People with great names and fortunes when there’s nothing to hide.
They fight, they wield, they conquer with victorious tunes,
Some lose, some yield, returning with more shields.
Kingdoms, they make,
Castles they build,
All the people they kneel,
Before the victorious shields.
All good.
But far east lives a group,
With food and drinks they chant every noon,
With no fancy swords or shields,
They live down the hills.
No great expeditions, without conquering hills,
No castles built,
Just a field of people that speak for common good: “after you”.
Still, all good.
